2nd California Trip Day 4 (12/12/08 Fri) - Universal Studio

Yeah! Universal Studio is somewhere where I had heard off, but nv imagined off... hopes Singapore have it soon for IR.....

Day 4...we went Universal Studios directly... so excited to see tat we are reaching..


It was 10am and was REALLY COLD! I m smiling in this pic but i m shivering! but i like the mist/vapour beside the globe...


Had breakfast outside Universal Studio before we went in. And Sponge Bob is the first character i saw... color so striking.. can u find monkey? haha


We took the tram for a tour ard the Hollywood Studios.... this is a real house... build for the Desperate Housewives... they have so much land to build so many studios and buildings!


I forgot in which movie involved this bridge... our tram crosses this bridge when it is so calm...


Then suddenly it breaks!!!!! but its all effects and we are all very safe la.... the japanese gals were screaming... haha


Remember the movie Too Fast Too Furious? They showed us how the movie was made possible with the effects of "Motion Controls"


In the tram, we viewed every single "show" at diff parts of the studios... and this is showed right in front of our eyes! they really spared no expenses at setting the effects man..... we can feel the heat of the fire in our tram...


THis village seems peaceful rite...


Then oni a few seconds.. they flooded it with water gushing down to us... but they are so smart that the water didn't get to the tram at all!


Continuing our tram ride, we saw more effects....


This is a real plane boeing dunno 777 or 747... Steven Speilberg got it and set up as ruins for forgot which movie...


This is the movie subway to death or doom... forgot... our tram went into the subway.. and we saw the whole crashes and flooding and explosions right in front.... scary.. tot we will die in the subway oso...


phew! finally finish taking the tram ride! so much to see! it takes ard 30 to 45mins to tour round the studios and at some parts, we are to remain silent cuz filming is in progress!

Then its the WaterWorld show... wow...


Can u see the fire starting from a plane?


They really spend $ to make the plane "flew" towards us exploding... wow......


Overall, i think the trip was really worth it.. with more rides and pics tat i m unable to include in Blogspot cuz of its SLOWness and UNFRIENDLINESS!!! But i think Universal Studios is really full of surprises.. and they really showed u the process of making, the technologies and effects... NICE! :)
