Christmas Celebrations 2008

My Christmas 2008 started beri early.

First, with the radio playing Christmas songs since Oct 08! then, with Walmart and many other shopping areas changed into Xmas feel right after Halloween.

Then, Base had a christmas event for all on 19 Dec 08 (Fri).
The princesses all got dressed up for this huge event... Sheena and me were supposed to "chope" seats for all but hor.. ended up Jerin and Shirley was the earliest.. ooops.. haha

Monkey was beri proud cuz he decorated the golf car (he was the decorating member in the christmas party committee)


He told me he decorated the background too... and later Santa is going to sit on this sofa to distribute pressies for kids and take pic here...

Santa is Chinese! And he said "Shen Dan Kuai Le" instead of Merry Christmas.. hhmmm... christine said he looks more like "Cai Shen Ye"... hahaa


After the party, the princess went to the lounge for KTV!!! but singing in the lounge makes me abit shy.. and the screen is not TV.. is projector screen... i sometimes can't see the lyrics... haha.....


Then went home, monkey surprised me with a Xmas gift.... oh btw.. can see my "no-parting hair"?



Its the wallet tat i want! And jess oso wan after i recommend her.. haha.. and now i m holding 2 identical wallets.. one is jess and one is mine.... i used mine and let jess's one hide inside the box...Thank u monkey! Jess, when are u collecting the wallet from me?


20 Dec 08, Sat, we went to Joe Crabs Shack for dinner, its Elaine's 2nd day in US here... and hor... thanks to darren and xinwei who intro us this place (we had it during our California trip and find it good, so must share)....

Monkey ordered a bucket of food... and he got to wear the beap.. haha


Edmund's bdae was on xmas eve so we sarboured him oso.....


After the fun, we went to casino AGAIN! pengz...

Then the real Xmas eve came...
Noon, I went to church with christine they all... thanks christ who came specially to fetch me... wow.. they church beri hi tech leh... hmmm.... and can deposit babies one... so the adults can go to the audi without distraction... the mums will get a little pager after depositing the kids... so the volunteers will page them if their kids needs attention... beri thoughtful hor?

Then after church, we went for a small lunch. SMALL cuz we are all having dinner feast later.. haha... then i went to meet monkey for some last min shopping for clothing for my white xmas! Thank God tat some shops are opened till 6pm on xmas eve!

Then we faster rush to Juliet's house for the dinner. The guys are waiting and playing Wii while we are busy at the kitchen cooking...

Juliet and Edwin beri nice.. deco the house until beri xmas... and the table settings are oso beri nice! Its western and fine dining theme! must get the pics from Eunice!

Appetisers... we made this ourselves... thanks Juliet and Eunice for the preps!

Fine dining! Nice food and wine!

We had a rule.. all must wear xmas hat!.. if u notice... even Juliet's pet aka Twinkle is oso in Xmas clothes.. haha




We played card game "Phase 10" and the winner gets to choose the pressies... haha.. after playing the exciting game... this is wad we got...

This laptop on the left is supposed to be my thanksgiving gift.. monkey ordered online and it got to us oni on 23 dec 08... but nice la... i like.... now lets hope monkey wun exchange laptop with me... haha
