US Air Show 2009

It is a once every 2 yr event. BIG event. The US Air show 2009, in Luke Air Force Base. People here regard it highly.

It is the day where the US fighter planes are all (not exactly all cuz some are classified) displayed and we are very honoured to view the stuns and the beri impressive performance by the beri handsome ang moh pilots (*shy*) flying here and there.

The only bad thing, Mr SUN is burning alot of us.... cuz air show cannot be done indoors ma... so we are all literally standing under the sun to view the performance...

Alot of pple parked their cars at a far place after a tiring traffic jam and queued a LONG LONG way to go in.... we were fortunate tat we can go in with a "city express"... haha... our sqn arranged transport so tat we got "priority" to go in with vehicle and dun need to q or walk... heng ar!!!!

There are really many many planes.... F15, F16, F22 (performing oni, not for display and exhitbition cuz its classified... wow...) and the bomber planes.... i dunno alot abt planes... but my monkey is beri excited and telling me which is which, wad they do and was admiring at the height of F15, so much taller than F16...

Oh, the stunning performance of F22, it seems to be able to "float" in the air and swim in the wind... and is able to pull up immediately etc... beri powerful!!!

even their helicopters oso can rotate 360 degrees... hahaa.. power rite?

the pilots all flew their planes low so audience can see clearly... beri nice.... requires alot of skill and courage. *impressed*

oh, the pilots and maintenance crew all took pride in their plane and work. can see them marching and saluting. somehow, i feel tat they are the real HEROES.... ooops....

anyway... i was melting.... and now melted... with a sunburn even though i applied sun block.

Monkey rejected my kind offer of sun block. needless to say, he is almost cooked.

We went to Reb Lobster again at nite for Hi/Bye dinner for the new rotation guys. I told monkey to go kitchen straight away when he reached... cuz he is a Red Lobster already.. hahaa

New rotation guys are here... so fast one yr le (for me is 9mths oni)... another 2 more hi/bye dinner, its time for me to say bye oso... hahaaa.... i will miss red lobster....
