CNY 2009 - Squadron Celebration 25 Jan 09

Sat is our mass celebration at a restaurant called Golden Buddha.

Basically, we booked the entire restaurant, quite a big scene... hahaaa...

The organisers did a beri good job in the event plannings.... with the entertainment, balloons, games, prizes, lion dance, lo-hei, presentation slides of their past yr activities..... beri touched.. hehe

Mrs Chua and me... since we are early, we patronised the supermarket beside.. and pose for pic. hehe



Monkey and me. The mandarins were from the committee... wow... and if u can see the background posters on the short wall, its actually the zodiac readings for the yr of moo moo. they pasted it themselves. i felt like i m in sg chinatown.



Our first angpow. its a lottery ticket tat everyone gets. (we didn't struck, else i wld b blogging in sg now :P)

The chio women...

Ever see an ang moh lion dance? the dancers were really ang mohs... hahaa....

Baby howard see liao oso excited.. starting to lion dance on the table.. haha

The guys yum-saying... tat is so singapore! hahaa.. even the ang moh boss oso come and yum say... the ambience is beri CNY! haha

Tats the food we had..

The food was so-so.. but its chinese food.. who says we can't have CNY in ang moh country? Chinese are very resourceful ok! haha

Lastly, the chio bu(s) standing in the cold wind posing. Guess which one of us just had a newborn? clue: not me
