2nd California Trip Day 2 (10/12/08 Wed)

We started our 2nd day with a nice bf at our hotel. really better than my previous trip at Goodnite Inn.

Chope chope faster chiong to Disneyland lor!!! So good tat our Days Inn got free shelter bus service to Disney so we saved a good amt of parking fee...

as planned, monkey already bought a 2day hooper tic for all of us beforehand... so we got the tic at a cheaper price and best of all, dun need to q to buy ...




Its ard 10am.. weather is cool... but the sun is shining bright too..

but i prefer my castle.. felt so my home.. haha.. princess lindarella stays in castle ok!



Disneyland California is beri big.. with many diff themes and lands... got Fantasyland, frontier land, tomolo land, toon town, adverture land, new orleans and dunno wad land...i m lost.. haa

this is the longest we queqed for... think ard 30mins... and we are hungry for lunch... we purposely arranged to go during wkday and not sch holiday period.. but dunno y this ride so crowded... we are preparing to take the submarine (behind me) to find nemo...

told monkey to join navy since he so excited in the submarine..

after our submarine ride... we went to lunch together with darren they all.. had big burgers and fries.. bought my cute hairband.. haha

the q for this ride is short... think oni 5mins...

monkey gave me a "special pose" when he realised i m snapping him from my cart in front...

Then we went toontown.. where mickeymouse and frds are...

they are individual houses for each of the characters and all have diff and cute furniture... i got abit mixed up which pic is taken at whose house...

Interstate 5 is a must go by freeway when going to California disney... monkey bought the sign for souvenair... wierd hor...

see... i always managed to find my own jail.... but this time i m jailed for being too cute.. haha

so many houses... and its oni part of the land in disney.. wa biang...

remember this cage of skeletons? it seems to be familiar in one of the pirates of the carribeans movie..

argh!!! there is a skeleton under the chest! part 2 is it? deadman's chest...

no.. the treasures aint't real...

tired to walk all around.. so i took the tram for a tour... haha..

we went to take rides ard oso... but the scariest is the splashing one.. dunno wad is it called but i oni noe the boat came down at such a steep high slope tat i was too afraid... leg soft liao...

lucky found pooh and calmed abit..

After tat, we shopped abit and waited for the fireworks to start.. its really nice....i snap pics until hand sour... so take video instead...can u find the smiley fireworks?

and hor...the surprise after the fireworks is tat, disney actually creates fake snow to let us feel the xmas atmosphere! :)

2nd California Trip Day 1 (09/12/08 Tuesday)

hello... have been busy over the past 2 wks... too many events....

To start first... i just came back from my holidays last sat... then rebonding on sun, then following wkdays oso busy (update u later).. yest still got xmas party at base... today went out whole day... busy busy busy...

We went for our 2nd California Trip but this time we are going Disneyland Resort (NOT HK HOR!) and Universal Studio...

Monkey had been planning for it and I had waited for one mth excitely.. tis time.. monkey did all the planning by himself, bookings and itinerary and researches.. i did nothing except feeling excited.. haha...

Last Sun, we went to collect our rented car (white Chevolet 2008) at Avis... at first monkey wanted to go collect with our travel partner aka Darren but he last min cnmi so monkey came home and woke me up to go with him.... FIRST TIME I DRIVE HIS LITTLE WIFE ALONE!!!! cuz he needs to drive the rented car back ma... so happy... haha... then after bringing his little wife back, we go out and test drive the rented car... new car is good! then we went to fetch his frd Darren and he got the car from us... why we gave him the car though i m the one who paid first cuz of his last min backup? cuz he needs to put his child seat ma.... so we sort of bao ka liao and still send to his door!

We started our trip as early as dawn....

No, thats not me. I didn't went for plastic surgery. Its Darren's wife and daughter (Xinwei and Qian Qian). The rented car is actually very BIG but hor... becomes abit squeezy after she planted in the child seat and STUFFED IN ALOT OF PILLOWS AND SOFT TOYS!!! pengz...

we had our bf in the car by compliments of them cuz they bought us Mac SME... my fav!!!! yeah!! Thanks ar!!! so we saved alot of time for break...

On the way.. we met a super sand storm... the view in front becomes blur.... the pic below is taken at my side window... lucky we were fine... haha


Then we went reached our hotel (Days Inn)... its too early to check in.. so we went to shop awhile at the nearby Downtown Disney... its not disneyland yet though its just beside... cuz we just wanna spend some time shopping... gals.. haha





After checking in, we had a short break... drove all the way to their Chinatown for dinner.. the traffic on the way was scary... aiyoh... but we all arrived safely but with famished stomachs....

so we "attacked" a chinese restaurant called "Shi Wei Xian" and ordered a table full of food enuff to feed a village... haha..

really like the nice autentic chinese food!

Then we walked ard Chinatown but its kinda later (7pm only) and most of the shops are closed... we heard tat they are open during biz hours.. pengz... so we didn't managed to get any american ginseng.. haha..




Since they are closed so early... we head to Hollywood Drive.. the Wall of Fame!

My First Thanksgiving (2008) in US!

Yes!!! My long waited Thanksgiving is here finally!!!! Monkey had a super long wkend (Thurs to Sun) and the sales had finally started!

On Thanksgiving day itself (27 Nov 08), we woke up at a time we like, without alarm clock disturbing dreams. But hor, the sales will oni start late at nite and alot of places is not open. So we went casino.... hahahaha.... Casino is opened 24hrs and 364days a yr.. had our lunch at Jack-In-The-Box. Thank goodness that its open while other fast food restaurant is resting.....

Then i bought half a dozen of mineral water from the petrol station just beside Jack-In-The-Box. Why? cuz i dun wanna drink too much sugared drinks when i m outdoor chionging for the sales later. Monkey commented why i so KS buy so much? in the end the drinks all finished in 2days! we left it in the car, and drink along... healthy choice!

Then we went to Anthem Outlets at 10pm plus.. polly they all still looking for place for dinner, but we already reach.... lucky we went early, cuz got carpark lots. They came at 11pm+ and got traffic jam and etc.... poor thing....

Saw this Giant X'mas tree in "construction"....



First shop to chiong at Anthem is Polo Ralph! Although we just came 2wks ago and bought alot of things, this time got additional 20% discount on top of the already discounted items (if buy more than USD150 la) !

So i grab grab grab, good thing its still not too crowded.. maybe we were early.... still got sizes to select slowly... happy!!! Bought 2 similiar tee but diff sizes (one for monkey and one for pig). Then i saw the pink sweater.... cheap and nice! and then i can't help but oso buy the grey/purple shawl! then we oso bought a set of 300thread bedsheet for our new house... KS rite? total how much? USD130+ oni!!! Saved USD80!!!!!!

My Ladies' card is grimming with pride... hahaaa




Then I bought a pair for shoes for "walking" to equip me for my upcoming Disney trip. hahaa..... I really wonder y sports shoes have diff functions but the "walking" shoes are really comfy! Along, i bought 3pairs of socks oso from Nike.... CHEAP!!!!! Total oni USD35.53!!!

Then while waiting for the others to reach, we went The Big Dog and I bought 2 shirts.. monkey oso bought 1... the wordings are just too cute... they were on sales 50%!

1) All I want is Everything, is that a problem?

2) If you dun like my Attitude, quit talking to me!

Then we had supper at Anthem's Subway, cuz the smells makes us hungry... shopping needs energy oso! hahaha...

Finally saw polly they all... polly oso liked the polo shirt i bought last time, so i brought her to Ralph Lauren again and showed her where i got it.... that was the 3rd time i enter the shop tat nite... 2nd time, i saw jaslin.. she oso bought the shawl i got! So happy!

We shopped till 3am++! Went to base and check if the q for USD20 gift card is long.... YES, IT IS LONG despite the cold cold weather... so we went home....

Nx day, aka Black Friday... we woke up quite late cuz of the previous day tiredness... haha... then we happily go breakfast cum lunch cum dinner at Takamatsu at 5pm. Then later go base and buy coach cuz got 25% discount from 6pm to 7pm! Polly called and said there are already many pple in the coach counter with their hands on the bags even before the sales start! PENGZ! so i think i just eat slowly (anyway, i can't eat fast... haha), hoping to go after 6pm where there shd be "leftovers" for me... haha

When I reach at 550pm, there was a queue!!!! Not too long, but long enuff all the way from the coach counter till the entrance! pengz.... Christine who came 5mins before me was in front of the queue by a few person.... Saw many familiar faces... haha... then we made our husbands to queue while we go chat and check on the coach counter if still have stocks we want...

While queqing, there are many scratchcards given to us...I won 2 "$10 of purchase f $100" while monkey won 2 free drinks. Christine best la! She won fries and cookies and drinks... i think she almost won the whole set of meal.. hahaaa

When finally it was our turn, realised alot of good and nice bags are gone :(

Was on a mission to buy many for friends but hor..... haiz.....

So in the end bought the below wristlet for my mum. Glad tat she likes it!!! USD34.50 oni, after discount of cuz!!!!

Also bought a coach op sabrina for frd.. dunno how to deal with it.. haiz.. but its the 2nd last and some ang mohs were asking if i still wan it... else they wanna get from me... hahaha.... monkey oso bought a bag for his mum!

We went back after the 2 hours q... getting ready for shopping the nx day! haha

Sat, we went Arizona Mill and Scottsdale.

Got this black tee from Forever21 at Arizona Mill for oni USD4.99! I intend to wear it inside a short dress. cheap cheap!

The last time I went Scottsdale, it gave me the class impression of our Paragon! All the branded brands are here.... so happy... monkey bought me the skinny last time when we were here to order a coach bag for his sis....

I love the gold skinny beri much! Tat time while we were shopping at vegas, Jessica wanted to buy the mahagony skinny, but when she saw this gold skinny i had, she oso like it and gave up on the coach outlet and buy it from boutique instead! ahaha....

Even though she went back to sg le, but she still wants more coach.. haha..... i was browsing this small purse.... she was eyeing on the other one but i "sai-ko" her this is nicer!!!!hahaa... so i got one for her. Monkey promised to buy one for me. So i waited for him at the coach boutique... and waited and waited! He had been in Ambercrombie for an hour selecting his clothes! Pengz! So i fed up in waiting, paid for the wallet meant for jessica and went off without getting mine :(

I had already spend alot in the 3days! And the most ultimate one is wad?

Yes! A LV pouch!!!! hahaha... i fell in love with it for first sight when i saw it in vegas. Didn't get it then cuz i tot sg might b cheaper. but after much considerations and at 2nd sight of it in Scottsdale... I took out my Ladies card again.... haha... so the bag came home with me.... happy!

Shit la... i getting more vain and poor..... nx wk must eat grass liao! hahaha .. but we all had a nice dinner at Dennys..... though my meal seems abit shrinking... the bread seems smaller... why ar? is it becuz of cold weather? hahaaa

Sunday, Christine came over to get my hair curler. Then we went to Yoshinoya together for lunch. Then go base to see for computer deals and Adidas is having 40% discount! But didn't buy anything there... so i quickly go buy groceries cuz it closed at 6pm on sunday!

Then went to Polly's house for a small scale BBQ....

Nice finale for the longwkend!

Tiring after so many days of "chionging"! Cold weather and walk so much! haha.... but alot of satisfaction and achievement! hahaaa
