Tai Tai Life (while hubby on mission) / Disney On Ice

My monkey and other guys was sent for detachment to Florida Key West for 2 wks.... hehee.... but the wives here are very united and full of activities... dun think we will be lonely at all!!!!

For the first wk, we took turns to cook dinner on wkdays while i suffered and sweat in my Hot Yoga class.... then, we went for Disney on ice, had steamboat, had world buffet, feast in olive garden, shop ard in Arrowhead Mill (mostly Forever21) and Ross and alamak... too much la!!!!

Had some fun in Adden Boo's first birthday party and visited selina who just gave birth to her little Princess.... wow... happening.... dunno went to walmart how many times just to get gifts and fruit basket.... anyway, we got time and car and company. hehee

Tiramisu

So in love with Tiramisu.... but we can't afford to go olive garden for this piece of heaven everyday rite... plus olive garden often offers the tempting delicious FATTENING pasta.... so the best is to DIY!!!

With the premix.. tadah!!!



It taste good too! though not so heavenly like the one from olive garden.. but it can really pass off well!!!


Pizza

It was so easy.... the ingredients are also easily available....

1. First, preheat over 350F (180C).

2. Then coat the sliced bread with ketchup.


3. Lay some american cheese ( u can use other cheese too) sparsely


4. Fill it with sliced Chicken Franks/Turkey Franks/ Ham


5. Top it with cheese again (aww.... sinful)


6. Bake for 10mins and tadah!!!


Easy..... and it taste good.... can add capsicums and some vege if u like to (but i m lazy). Used to do it in Sg when i was younger, but with the availability of pizza delivery and cheap microwavable pizza, i already stop bothering myself.... but sometimes... hmm..

We had a celebration in base.... and celebrated at jer's hse....

Executed another surprise tat was carefully planned. First it was a surprise meet up with yuan at SFO. But before they come, yuan already arranged a surprise birthday burst for crab.... wowww.... loving rite? and me knowing they had surprises for each other, had to play along... hahaaa

but hor... i abit too greedy, lighting the no. of candles according to birthday boy's age.... then still tried too long to play the bdae song from my piano's memory... ended up when yuan took out the cake.... it was....

On Flame!!! hahaa... we see liao shocked and broke in laughter.... i think i literally PENGZ on the floor.. hahaa

After blowing the candles, who dare to eat the cake!? hahaaa


most impt is the sincerity. no, we didn't bake the cake la... i bought it the day before they came.... told u it was planned! then nvm..... another surprise tat was planted.... but i shan't announce it here.... shhh.... wait till the time is ripe.....

Happening December 2009

Of all the months of the year, other than CNY mth and my birthday mth, the most favourite mth shall be December!!!

Yes!!! FULL OF HOLIDAYS and festive mood!!!!

It was my last dec in US. My sil came to tour US with her 2 frds and to visit us. We flew to meet them in SFO, a place that we started our adventures!

Pai seh to say, after over a year stay in US, it was our first attempt using public transport..... see monkey trying to figure out how to use the Bart Ticket Machine (like our MRT) from SFO International airport......

love the boat ride from Blue and Gold Fleet. Fantastic!!! but the wind was so strong..... our teeths were chilled from smiling for the pics!!!


Another point of attraction at SFO. Coit Tower. By the time we "climbed" up the slopes here, i was panting like an old woman... old liao... but SFO is like tat, full of up and down slopes, and the slopes were steep!!!!


See! i didn't bluff u! Lombard St, the most crookedest street in world!!!! the cars travelling have to drive at turtle speed around the turns for this slope... to my amazement, there are residents living here, and the houses were so exp!!! and somemore.... i pei-fu their parking, on a slope into their garage!!!


It rained "ice" (called glazier) on our first day there.... can u understand how cold it is?


Saw this swensen's shop at one of the slopes, wonder if its related to the one in sg....aww.... miss home!!!!

Meet up with Yuan and Weixie. We had dinner together at chowders. So warm and nice and catching up with old frds made it sweeter!!! k la, i was freezing cold already, so any food is good!


actually yuan's bf weixie beri romantic to arrange a surprise "meet up", tats y i dun even dare to reveal to boonkiat or liling abt this plan cuz its a surprise..... hehee.. and oso lucky tat their itinerary is exactly same as ours!

Our vegas trip again. went to vegas many times but this was our first time reaching there by plane...

vegas is really a sin city!!!! even at the airport, there are so many slot machines!!!!


Took a free shelter to their car rental center (they have so much space at the airport). We had booked Budget which is cheaper for tat few days... omg... even their car rental centre looks like a mini-check in centre airport

I think we went to this restaurant twice..... highly recommended by eric.. I would say, go for their dinner, so worth it and nice and cheap!

This was taken while waiting (in hunger and tiredness) for the famous international buffet Todai at Planet Hollywood. I must emphaize that its at Planet Hollywood and not Caesars Palace! Cuz monkey brought all of us to the wrong place again! making us more hungry and tired before we got right (hengz we asked a nice ang moh who happens to noe abt this buffet)..... we waited/queued for an hour before its our turn to go in..... hungry till wanna die...
